Zyla Accountants CEO Suzy KErton named as ICAS Local Ambassador in Dubai
ICAS, is a global professional membership organisation and business network for Chartered Accountants. It’s also an educator, regulator, examiner and a professional awarding body.
ICAS has a growing presence across the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and we are pleased to announce that Suzy Kerton, Chief Executive Officer from Zyla Accountants has been named a Local Ambassador for ICAS in the region.
ICAS members meet up in Dubai, and online, to share information, insights and develop their professional networks.
If you are in the UAE, you can reach out via LinkedIn to the local Ambassador. The Ambassadors act as a point of contact for local member enquiries and help ICAS deliver events and opportunities to engage, inspire, inform and connect CAs.

Global Accounting Alliance
ICAS is a founding member of the Global Accounting Alliance (GAA), formed to provide thought leadership on accounting issues, coordinate interaction with regulatory bodies and use the combined knowledge of accountants around the globe in the public interest.
One of the founding objectives of the GAA was to help members access overseas support and value adding services. The GAA Passport Programme enables members working and looking to work in GAA Member Body jurisdictions to obtain access to specific local member support services.

Zyla’s clients all manage their accounts digitally. If they’re not already doing so when being taken on, Suzy and her expert team help them with the transition. Most are in tech or ecommerce, with several also in hospitality and leisure. The firm’s services span the staples – book-keeping, VAT, payroll and year-end accounts – as well as CFO support, R&D tax credits and advanced assurance and compliance for both the Enterprise Investment and Seed Enterprise Investment Schemes.
Zyla also provides cloud accounting training, driven by Kerton’s strong belief in the value of financial education. “As CAs, we often forget many people running businesses aren’t aware of aspects of accountancy that we’d regard as the simple stuff,” she says. “Talking regularly and offering help and training can have a massive, positive effect on their business. I really enjoy that side of it. That’s how Zyla has grown – through those organic referrals where clients tell other businesses how we’ve supported them.”
